Onyx is a translucent jewelry grade stone which, when illuminated from below, begins to glow from the inside, revealing hidden beautiful crystalline structures deep within it. The light itself is filtered by the stone, picking up many of the subtle colors found naturally within it, and transmitting them to the surrounding area. Used in conjunction with other translucent items, such as glass vases or display pieces, you can harness this light, using its gentle colors to effect a subtle transformation on the atmosphere of a setting.
